The Web Rangers is an initiative by Google to promote digital literacy among the youth. The aim is to promote and educate the youth about how the internet is an empowering tool relevant to their lives and their futures. The Web Rangers are dedicated to teaching our peers about the power of the internet. We are here to promote digital literacy so everyone can use the internet to pursue passions, hone talents and develop skills or learn new things that matter. What We Do? We are a group of online heroes who's aim is to keep the internet safe. What It Entail? This project is targeted to teenagers, age 14-18 who will campaign for safe use of the internet in their communities, after participating in a workshop organised by Google and partners, where they learn about online safety and campaigning. The teens are challenged to make the best use of their social influence and spread their newly acquired knowledge and skills among other teens and children. This
